Used your water for the first time.

I had ordered Magic Water as having tried most of the others, cons outdid the pros in most cases.

Here are my impressions...so far:

Pros:

Super easy to use- 2 part 2 to 1 mix.

Sets up crystal clear.

Flows like thick water when pouring.

No smell, No fumes.

No bubbles.

Want shrink.

Wont yellow.

Single pour (even thought I did mine in 2)

No generated heat.

Cons:

Only place I found it was online so it took a short while to get here.  $29.95 cost is about 1/3 too high but then again they are all too expensive.

OK my opinions in comparison to the other products like Realistic Water or 2 part epoxy, or that stuff you have to melt.  Magic Water is hands down the best I've tried.

I used your product for the first time on my layout.  It was the first time I've ever done water and it came out fantastic!  All the horror stories I had read about doing water were erased.  I do have one question.  I still have a little resin left that i could mix up to do my next project which is a pond.  If I dont have enough to finish the pond, if it doesnt cover the entire surface, could I then pick up where I left off when I get this new batch?  In other words would there be a parting line where the old and new meet, or would it not be noticeable?  I am very happy with your product.

Answer:  You can layer the product at any time without seams being noticeable from above, but they will be slightly noticeable from a side view, as if in a glass.  So for lakes and ponds its not a problem.

    I really appreciate your suggestions regarding the frosting that occurred when I made the cube.  Its also interesting that you mentioned styrene as a medium that I could use for casting.  I was surprised that I didn't have a problem with the Magic water adhering to the plastic container,  it peeled away with little effort and the "flexible" characteristics of the Magic Water was a benefit.  I doubt I could have gotten the same results with a product like "Envirotex".

    I would like to say thank you again for your help and courtesy,  you have an extraordinary product and your customer service is second to none.

    Thank you for your prompt and helpful response.  You were right, no problem at all with the product, even after a couple of years storage.  It looked fine and worked MAGICALLY!

    This is the first time I have ever modeled water so I did a mock-up of how it will be on my layout for practice.  I am absolutely delighted with the results and the ease with which I achieved them.

    I have never done any water modeling before so I have nothing to compare to.  I read how everyone does water but decided to try it my way.  So despite my worst efforts Magic Water still exceeded my best expectations.  

  I emailed the manufacturer in the US to get his thoughts on my method.  I received a reply within the hour!  Top marks to Dave!

    So my review:  Very easy to get great results, top product and top service.  I am totally sold.  I wouldn't bother with any other water product!

    This product is amazing and as long as you are in no rush you can do almost anything with it!

Just so you know, Magic Water was recommended to me by a friend who teaches at the Illinois Institute of Art.  Her students loved it!  We are using it for a project being completed by ny 6th-8th grade students who are building a city that has turned into an island.
